The transfer case on my 72 Blazer is leaking fluid. It's a slow leak that started after I got stuck in a deep water hole for about an hour. It has a skid plate mounted directly below it. How much would it cost, parts & labor) to replace the front and rear seals? It is an NP205 Transfer case mounted to a Turbo 350 Transmission.

Hello,
I have a 72 mercedes benz 220D manual transmission that needs work/replacement.
The reverse gear was very difficult to engage for a while.
Now it broke and won't engage, feels real loose and shifter slides right through where reverse should be.
Other gears don't feel as solid as I think the linkage should be and occasionally gets stuck in one gear.
If you're 100% comfortable on the repair/replacement to fix this transmission and can guarantee work, please let me know your price and timeframe.
I'm available to help, but I've never worked on transmissions.
I'm in Newport News, but can drive it to a shop.

Thanks,
Pete
