Locating Parts — How It Works

We understand the difficulty finding the right parts for your prized possesion.  Our parts locating service can assist in that search for the right part.  Below is process for utlizing the service.

Customer Requirements

  • We will determine whether your part is “readily available”.

FantomWorks Initial Research

  • We will determine whether your part is “readily available”.
  • If it is, it will be your option for us to purchase and deliver that part.
  • If it is not, we will contact you to begin the search process.

Search Fee Will Be Collected

  • $25 (refundable: Terms & Conditions apply)

Part Is Located

  • The FantomWorks team will begin searching for your classic/vintage part.

Part Is Purchased

  • Once we locate your part in the condition you have specified, you will have the option of purchasing this part.

Part Is Delivered

  • FantomWorks will gladly accept delivery of your part at our facility in Norfolk, VA.  However, we are willing to have the item shipped to another location you may specify.

Terms & Conditions
Please understand that this is a pay-for-service offering and, as such, it is not to your benefit if the part you request is readily available at a local parts dealer.

The FantomWorks staff has over 30 years of classic and vintage parts purchasing experience and so far we have managed to find every rare and “impossible-to-find” part we have ever needed; we are still at 100% success. (Example: You have a 1954 Kaiser-Darrin. You badly want to get your darling on the road, but you need a set of king pins for your suspension. Can Fantomworks help? We can and we did. We found the last set on the market – or so it would seem)

If you have been searching for days, weeks, or ten years for the part(s) you need, let us have a go at it. You will not be disappointed.

If, for some reason, you are not satisfied with the part you specified, you are under no obligation to purchase it; however, our time is as important to us as yours, so the fee will not be refunded.

Fee $25 (refundable if we fail to find the part in the condition you require)
