hi there i was wondering if i could get some information from you i have a 2000 s-10 i want to put louvers in the hood my questions are what is the turn around time? is it something where i need to drop the hood off to you and pick it up when its done or is a day and done deal? also what price range am i looking at getting in i have an idea of the design i want which would be like a row of 5 then a row of 6 then a row of 7 and another row of 7 then 6 and then 5 any how if i need to leave the hood with you i will source out a new hood to use since the truck is my daily driver project look forward to hearing from you
Shawn, we could louver your hood in one day if you drop it off in the AM, I could get it back to you that evening. It is legal (the last time I checked) to drive without a hood so that’s not generally a problem for the day.
The one thing I would like to know is whether you have checked your hood to ensure you aren’t asking for louvers either above a doubler (below the louver) or on/next to a crease in the hood. It is not possible to put a louver other than in relatively flat metal without a frame reinforcement below that point.
If you have a pattern that works and want it done, the cost is the setup time (75.00) and the cost of 36 louvers is $108 so the total would be 183.00 with no tax.

I have a 2004 toyota tacoma and want to have the hood louvered . I plan to buy a new hood on line and remove bracing and paint myself . there is room for 4 rows , no more than 100 ,2″ louvers .I live in central Va. and will ship the hood to you round trip . can you give me estimates with and without paint[ base coat and clearcoat], I will reweld the bracing in myself . thanks G F
