The Kaiser Darrin is a stunning and elegant looking classic car. With its convertible top and smooth stylish lines, it certainly makes for an exciting restoration. The Kaiser Darrin was produced by the Kaiser Motors Corporation in 1954, its only production year. Only 435 rolled of the production line of this particular car; therefore making it a very rare and expensive car. These cars can sell for more than $100,000, with most of them being sold close to 200,000 dollars. In 2010 an extremely rare version of this car, a supercharged convertible, sold at auction, with Barrett Jackson auto auctions, for $220,000. This is a car that every car enthusiast would dream of owning. Hence why when we herd we were going to have the chance to work on this vehicle we were extremely excited. When we picked this vehicle up from the owners residence however, the wheels were locked and the engine was not running correctly. After an examination and approval of the owner we rebuilt the carburetor and installed a custom made non power disk brake set up. We also did a little bit of polishing to prevent rusting and some body work. Today the owner enjoys a fresh, sleek, and running 1954 Kaiser Darrin.

This is amazing, my Dad inherited a 54′ Darren from my grandfather about 10 years ago, like this one the wheels were stuck and it would not turn over. My Dad got it running but just enough to take it to local car shows. He has done alot of research and cant find anyone who he can trust to restore it hence the personal value and history. Im sure when its time I will recieve the car but like my father I will have a very hard time letting someone else restore it. Im sure in time it will happen. You guys did an amazing job with this Darren and if I had the cash to restore it to its original state you would be my 1st choice.
The paragon of undretsadning these issues is right here!
Always glad to help friends…
