Although the standard-line 1955-1956 Chevrolet Series 3100 pickup wasn’t in the class of the Chevrolet Cameo Carrier, it was more stylish than any that had gone before.

Attitudes about trucks were changing fast in the 1950s. Lots of people used them for double-duty; cargo hauling and personal transportation. An eye-catching truck could also promote a merchant’s services.

Cadillac (pronounced /ˈkædɨlæk/) is an American luxury vehicle marque owned by General Motors (GM). Cadillac vehicles are sold in over 50 countries and territories, but mostly in North America. Cadillac is currently the second oldest American automobile manufacturer behind fellow GM marque Buick and is among the oldest automobile brands in the world. Depending on how one chooses to measure, Cadillac is arguably older than Buick.

The Heinkel bubble car was produced between the 1950′s and 1960′s. It was part of a growing trend that captured the attention of Europe.  The reason for this was the exceptionally low operating cost of this vehicle. It was also created with a single wheel in the rear to take advantage of the motor laws in Britain. These laws allowed the car to be licensed, and tagged as a motorcycle.  This caused the taxes to be extremely low and in this day and age who doesn’t want low taxes. Therefore with the gas prices being so high, it’s no wonder the owner wanted to get his 1957 Heinkel out of his garage and into his driveway with a restoration from FantomWorks.

The Chevrolet 150 2 Door wagon was converted by the last owner to look like a Bel Air. We’re continuing the transition to convert it into a Nomad. We’ve located the glass, trim, and of course, the critical roof and conversions are ongoing. We are also adding a 1 FOOT section down the center of the car to add a super wide stance to the car and give the Nomad look a super agressive look to match the Z06 Drivetrain it will get.

Nomad was a station wagon model made from 1955 to 1972, and a Chevy Van trim package in the late 1970s and early 1980s, produced by the Chevrolet Division of General Motors. The Nomad is best remembered in its two-door 1955–57 form, and was considered a halo model during its three-year production as a two-door station wagon.

The 1959 Corvette also known  as the C1 Corvette, was the very first production model that General Motors ever built. Although its production started in 1953 the body was very similar from 1953 to 1962. The general concept of the body didnt really change untill 1963 with the introduction of the C2 Stingray. It was this Corvette, the C1, that started a legacy that is still in full swing today. Today however the Corvette, which comes in three different models, has far more horsepower than the C1 even dreamed of. The C1 Corvette came stock with 283 horsepower. A number that today is far below what most people think as a lot. However that credit should not be taken away from the Corvette. During its time the corvette was considered one of the fastest cars on the Road. Today that is still the case, all because the legacy that General Motors started more than five decades ago.

The owner of this Corvette purchased this vehicle in the 60′s for less than a thousand dollars (Solid Axle Corvettes were relatively undesirable and therefore cheap back then) and drove this car everywhere. It saw multiple trips from coast to coast and never knew what a garage was as it was his daily driver. After several years, he painted it red with black coves (original combination was silver with white coves) and then he completed a few economy upgrades like replacing the dual quad intake/carbs with a single 4bbl holley since gasoline was a whopping $.28 in the early 70′s

The vehicle stayed on the road until the mid 70′s when due to some significant mechanical issues, the vehicle was “parked”.  During the last 35 years, the car was disassembled in preparation for the day the owner would meet up with DRS FantomWorks. He’s overjoyed his project is now being restored. We’re starting with a stripping of the vehicle down to the bare glass body and frame then we’ll strip every part of the car down to its base material with a combination of steam blasting, soda blasting, and various different agressive medias. Stay tuned for updates as we bring this rare icon of happier days gone by back to life.
