The 1966 AC Cobra is one beast of a machine. The looks of it are stunning and like no other car we have. The AC Cobra, also known as the Shelby Cobra, was produced from 1961-1967 with the sole intention of beating the Chevrolet Corvette. It came with a 427 cubic inch motor that produced up to 485 horsepower. Only 300 original vehicles were sent to Carrol Shelby during the years 1965 and 1966. Making this car extremely valuable. However, these cars come in kits that are relatively inexpensive to start. Although they can become more and more expensive the more you add to them. This car however is the original muscle car. It is the culmination of the muscle car era.
